Pasadena : Panel Members Named

Two new citizen committees were created Tuesday, and their members were named by the Board of Directors.
Members of the Urban Design Plan Committee will work with the consulting firm of Kaplan/McLaughlin/Diaz to help update the city’s Urban Design Plan. The members are Donna Mathewson of the Cultural Heritage Commission, Mike Salazar of the Community Development Commission, Nina Chomsky of the Design Commission, Phoebe Wall of the Planning Commission and Dorrie Poole of the Arts Commission.
Members Richard Barnes, Stephen Barasch, Bill Ellinger, Robert McClellan and Richard Rose were chosen from the 1981-1983 Citizens Committee. Nadine Rondinella, executive director of the South Lake Business Assn., will also serve on the new committee.
The new Hillside Grading Citizens Advisory Committee will advise city staff members and consultants from Lockman & Associates, who are revising the city’s grading ordinance. Members are Planning Commissioners Phoebe Wall and Bill York, architect Carl Gaede and residents Marilyn Brumder, Ruth Melissa, Shirley Manning and Brookes Treidler.
