Suspect Arrested in Bank Robbery

ANAHEIM — Police officers here apprehended a man Wednesday suspected of robbing a bank in Buena Park earlier in the afternoon.
The man, whom police did not identify, was arrested in a motel in La Mirada at about 4 p.m. just a few miles away from the First Interstate Bank at 7501 Commonwealth Ave., Anaheim. The bank had been robbed of an undisclosed amount of money Wednesday at about 2:15 p.m.
The robber, in his mid-20s with light brown hair and a bushy mustache, matched the description of the suspect, Buena Park Police Lt. Billy Cox said.
