Steel Box Holding Activist Blocks Rail Route to Plant

INGLESIDE, Tex. —
Greenpeace activists Wednesday bolted a steel box containing a member of the environmental group to railroad tracks leading to a Du Pont Co. facility to protest production of ozone-depleting chemicals.
Railroad workers used a crane to remove the box about three hours later. A Greenpeace spokeswoman said the man in the box was arrested.
