Pacific Palisades : Bids on Drainage Projects
Los Angeles County officials will open bids May 8 on the first of two drainage projects planned in Pacific Palisades, a spokesman for Supervisor Deane Dana said.
The project calls for the placement of 2,500 feet of reinforced concrete pipe between Capri Drive and the Santa Monica Canyon channel near Sunset Boulevard, spokesman Dennis Morefield said. Work is expected to begin in July and be completed by December, he said.
Plans call for a second, 3,900-foot segment in the area north of Capri Drive to be installed later, he said.
