Ex-Dodger to Join Library Program

Former Dodger pitcher Joe Moeller will be a guest celebrity reader Wednesday when the Wilmington branch of the Los Angeles Public Library presents a family story program at 3:30 p.m. The program is part of the city’s “Night of a Thousand Stars” to celebrate National Library Week and promote literacy. Moeller, who lives in the South Bay, pitched for the Dodgers in the 1960s. The Wilmington branch library is at 1300 N. Avalon Blvd. The program is open to parents and children of all ages.
