Firestone Extends Truck Tire Recall: Firestone extended its recall of tubeless over-the-road truck tires announced earlier this year by an additional 89,500 units to include all tubeless tires produced between mid-1987 and late 1989 in Bilbao, Spain, and imported into the United States. Firestone had announced an earlier recall of 86,000 of these tires on Jan. 4. The tires being recalled bear a serial number beginning with “VT” and ending in digits ranging from “277” through “439.”
