Rexhall Posts Rise in Quarterly Profit, Sales

Rexhall Industries Inc., a Santa Clarita builder of motor homes, said its first-quarter profit rose 34% from a year earlier as sales jumped 85%.

In the quarter ended March 31, Rexhall’s earnings climbed to $477,000 from $356,000 and its sales surged to $10.9 million from $5.87 million.

Rexhall, whose products are sold through 81 dealers, said it plans to increase production and add dealers in the United States, Europe and Japan. The company also recently opened a second plant in Santa Clarita to build a new line of motor homes.
