Olivia Maria De La Torre, 25, who escaped last week from the Las Colinas Women’s Jail, was recaptured Monday in a Southeast San Diego alley.
De La Torre, who was awaiting sentencing on a drug conviction and probation violation when she escaped Wednesday, was taken into custody by parole agents and San Diego police officers.
Police spokesman Bill Robinson said she was carrying a rock cocaine pipe when she was arrested at 8:50 a.m. in an alley at the 2600 block of Imperial Avenue.
