Hall Gets Mogul Role: Arsenio Hall will become a film producer at Paramount Pictures, which also produces his late-night talk show. The comedian has entered into a long-term agreement with Paramount that has him starring in a minimum of four films and allows him to develop and produce other projects, whether he appears in them or not. Hall has not previously starred in a feature film, but played other supporting roles, including a prominent supporting part in Eddie Murphy’s “Coming to America.” Paramount also added a one-year extension to its existing five-year commitment for “The Arsenio Hall Show.” No salary figures were released.
