TriCare Acquisition: TriCare Inc. said Monday that it intends to acquire the occupational treatment operations of an unnamed health-care services company in the Inland Empire.

“We’re awfully excited about this acquisition,” said Steve Bullock, chief executive officer at Santa Ana-based TriCare. Bullock declined to identify the company but said the purchase price is in excess of $5 million.

TriCare, an occupational health-care company that went public Jan. 26, will acquire the health-care services company’s assets and assume certain contracts of various medical groups providing treatment to injured workers, Bullock said. The Inland Empire firm has net revenue in excess of $7 million, TriCare said.
