LOCAL : Orange Man Accused in Stabbing
An Orange man suspected of stabbing his girlfriend after an argument has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, police said today.
Seferino Flores Rodriguez, 22, was booked into Orange County Jail after the stabbing Tuesday night, Orange Police Lt. John Higley said.
The victim, 23-year-old Anna Valenzuela, received several stab wounds to her chest and was rushed to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. She was listed in stable condition, Higley said.
Higley said police responded to a report of a family disturbance at an apartment in the 2900 block of East Vine Street. “Officers found the suspect and victim struggling inside,” Higley said.
Police arrested Rodriguez and seized a pocket knife, he said.
