The Raiders announced the acquisition of wide receiver/kick returner Jamie Holland from the San Diego Chargers Thursday in return for an undisclosed draft choice.

A published report in San Diego, citing unnamed sources, said the pick acquired by the Chargers is a seventh-rounder.

Holland, 26, came to San Diego from Ohio State. In three years, he caught 71 passes for 1,010 yards and one touchdown.

Last season, Holland started opposite Anthony Miller when the Chargers went to a two-receiver set, but in 16 games, he caught only 26 passes for 336 yards.

Holland returned 79 kickoffs for the Chargers for an average of 21.9 yards. His 94-yard return for a touchdown in 1988 against the Kansas City Chiefs is the third-longest in club history.
