SUPER SCHNITZEL SESSION: Paging polka fanatics: Restless Records has put together a compilation of the best current polka practitioners, titled “Polka Comes to Your Haus!” It features such squeeze-box classics as Rotondi’s “Blue Polka,” the Wallets’ “Big City Polka,” Brave Combo’s “The Last Words of Sigmund Freud (Always Vienna),” Polkacide’s “Martha Polka” and the Polish Muslims’ “That’s Why God Invented the Polka.” . . . The Neville Brothers have just finished a new album, “River of Life,” due out in July from A&M; Records. The record will feature a host of originals as well as the group’s version of Leonard Cohen’s “Bird on a Wire,” which appears in the Mel Gibson film of the same name that opens May 18).
