Panama Rites Held for Invasion Dead

PANAMA CITY —
Archbishop Marcos G. McGrath of Panama attended a burial service Sunday for 123 people killed during the U.S. invasion whose bodies were exhumed from a mass grave and identified by relatives.
Officials said the bodies, which included several children, had been buried in green plastic and canvas bags used by the U.S. armed forces. They were killed in the Dec. 20 invasion that ousted strongman Gen. Manuel A. Noriega, the officials added.
