A Short Reunion: Twelve actors who played Munchkins in the movie “The Wizard of Oz” will be in Grand Rapids, Minn., for the Judy Garland Festival June 8-12. Festival organizers are billing the event as the largest gathering of Munchkins since the movie was produced in 1939 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The festival to honor Garland, who was born in Grand Rapids, will also feature a parade and an exhibit of private photographs of her.
