Two Picasso paintings valued at nearly $600,000 were stolen from the headquarters of Republic National Bank of Miami, police said today.

The paintings, titled “Musical Instrument Cello” and “Bull Skull on a Draped Table,” were noticed missing by bank employees early Thursday.

Both paintings are owned by Robert Isaias of Ecuador, whose family owns a controlling interest in the bank.
