No Comedy to Her

Share

Regarding the recently released movie “Miami Blues”: The Times reviewer and others have described this as a comedy and/or a black comedy. None mentioned the excessive violence.

I wonder what parts of this “comedy” they all think is the funniest. Is it when a character breaks the finger of the Hare Krishna (who dies from the shock)? Is it when he beats the policeman to within an inch of his life? Is it when he shoots down in cold blood the security guard in the coin shop? Or is it when three of his fingers are chopped off? Is there something wrong with me that I didn’t laugh at any of these?
