Tears at Mills: The Times received 31 letters in response to the article and pictures on the Mills College Board of Trustees’ decision to begin admitting men in 1991 (Part A, May 4). Twenty-eight letters chided the co-eds for not wanting to admit men, while 3 sided with the unhappy women. Faced with a student strike, college officials said they may reconsider the decision (Part A, May 11).
