Cup Didn’t Run Over With Sportsmanship

Never was the phrase, “A plague on both your houses,” more aptly applied than to the perpetrators of the recent America’s Cup debacle, Michael Fay and Dennis Conner. Neither had any respect for the sporting tradition of Cup competition and neither deserved to win and hold the Cup.
A propitious outcome for the 1992 challenge would be for the Cup to be won by a deserving challenger.
