La Verne University Professor Honored
A behavioral sciences professor from the University of La Verne has won the 1989 Sears, Roebuck “Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership” award.
Aghop Der-Karabetian will receive $1,000 and the University of La Verne will receive a $1,500 grant.
Der-Karabetian, an associate professor, was selected for his innovative teaching and campus leadership.
