Cleaning Up After Pets

Share

Having read Ed Gazich’s letter to the editor, I feel compelled to add my support. I have no dog because I do not feel able to care for one adequately and find it infuriating to be forced to clean up after some stranger’s dog every day.

In our quiet tract, the dog owners do not even walk their dogs; they turn them loose at about dinner time, when most of us are inside, to use any yard they choose as their own personal deposit area.

I am rapidly approaching the stage of violence and would like to see leash laws with real sting passed and enforced.

Decent people do not have to be told to keep their animals at home and clean up after them.
