Cineplex Odeon Corp.: The troubled Cineplex Odeon Corp. announced a net loss of $11.9 million on revenue of $140 million for the first quarter ended March 31. The loss was reduced by a $19-million gain from the sale of the company’s interest in Film House Partnership. Also included as income was a $15-million gain from the sale of the corporation’s residual interest in Universal Studios Florida.
