Y for the Kids dinner and auction at the Westin South Coast Plaza hotel in Costa Mesa on May 12 raised an estimated $60,000 for the YMCA of Orange County. Doug Wride was chairman.
The Cinco de Mayo celebration at Security Pacific Plaza in Costa Mesa on May 5 raised an estimated $15,000 for the Los Compadres of Olive Crest Treatment Centers for Abused Children. George Argyros Jr., Jennifer Van Bergh, Carolyn Knox, David Wensley and Michael Henton organized the benefit.
The Celebrity Waiter Luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Irvine on May 11 netted an estimated $25,000 for the American Heart Assn. Orange County chapter. Heidi Miller and Dick Gorrie were co-chairpersons.
The Southwestern Extravaganza at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Anaheim on May 12 raised an estimated $20,000 for the Women’s Guild of Olive Crest Treatment Centers for Abused Children. Jodi Ferragamo was chairwoman.
The Under an Enchanted Moonlight auction and dinner at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach on May 12 raised an estimated $20,000 for the Pegasus School of Huntington Beach. Sherry Schulman and Kris Robertson were co-chairwomen.
