NATION : Bush to Meet 3 Foreign Leaders
President Bush will host the presidents of Colombia and Haiti and the prime minister of Greece in upcoming meetings, the White House announced today.
Bush will see Colombia’s President Virgilio Barco Vargas on June 5 during Barco’s visit to the United States for commencement ceremonies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bush last saw Barco in Cartagena, Colombia, for the one-day anti-drug meeting in February that also included the presidents of Peru and Bolivia.
On May 24, Bush meets with Haiti’s President Ertha Troullot, who will also see members of Congress and international financial executives.
On June 6, Greek Prime Minister Constantine Mitsotakis will visit the White House for a meeting and lunch with Bush.
