Camera Platforms Shows Loss for 1st Quarter

Camera Platforms International Inc. in Valencia said it lost $613,135 in the first quarter that ended March 31, compared with a loss of $754,005 a year earlier.
The company, which makes movie production equipment, said its first-quarter revenue jumped 46%--to $524,447 from $359,723 in the same period a year ago. Camera Platforms added that during the current quarter it expects to ship $1.5 million in equipment through a previously announced sale.
