Two Dutch stars, Frank Rijkaard and Marco Van Basten, combined for the only goal to lead AC Milan to a 1-0 victory over Benefica of Portugal before a capacity crowd of 57,000 in the European Champions Cup at Vienna.
It was the second year in a row that AC Milan has won the most prestigious European soccer championship.
