West Hollywood : Drinking Curbs Expanded

The City Council has amended the city’s public drinking ordinance, making it illegal to drink in public on private property, such as on a private stairway, parking lot or doorway.
The ordinance was changed after the Sheriff’s Department complained that deputies had difficulty enforcing the old law because it only prohibited drinking on “public” property.
