SHORT TAKES : Axl Rose Seeks Erin Everly Split

A month of marriage apparently was enough for Axl Rose, lead singer of the band Guns ‘N’ Roses. He filed for divorce in Los Angeles Thursday, citing irreconcilable differences with Erin Everly, the daughter of Everly Brother Don.
Rose and Everly, his longtime girlfriend, were married in a spur-of-the-moment ceremony on April 28 after a limo ride from Los Angeles to the Cupid Chapel in Las Vegas. Rose once said he wrote the hit song “Sweet Child O’ Mine” for Everly and described her as the first person to inspire him to pen a happy love song.
