He said Moorman was identified by people who recognized him from bank camera surveillance photographs published in local newspapers. Moorman was located on Dec. 26, in the San Diego County Jail, where he was being held on unrelated burglary charges.

Martinez, formerly of Oxnard, was charged with three Oxnard robberies over six months, Lawler said.

The first occurred Oct. 31 at American Savings Bank, 560 South A St. and was followed on Feb. 9 by a holdup at First Nationwide Bank, 1055 S. Oxnard Blvd. The third robbery occurred April 20 at the Security Pacific on South A Street.

After an arrest warrant was issued, Martinez surrendered to FBI agents in Oxnard on May 9, Lawler said. Martinez faces a hearing June 4.

Perez of Oxnard is charged with robbing the Imperial Savings Assn. at 2671 N. Ventura Road, Port Hueneme, on April 27, Lawler said. Perez was arrested May 7 by Port Hueneme police and the FBI, Lawler said. His hearing is scheduled Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.
