SANTA ANA : Names Solicited for 2 New Grade Schools

Share

The Santa Ana Unified School District is planning to build two more elementary schools in the next two years and wants the public’s help in naming them.

The new schools are now being referred to as School 9 and School 10. School 9 will be constructed at Alton Avenue and Greenville Street, and School 10 will be built at 900 W. Richmond St.

“Because of our continuing growth, the new schools we’re adding are critically important to the district,” said Supt. Rudy Castruita. “But, additionally, we believe these new schools are assets to their neighborhoods. That’s why we hope that the community will help us choose appropriate names for two more elementary schools.”
