NEW YORK — Pan American World Airways today announced a fare that offers a 32% saving to Soviet citizens who are emigrating to the United States.
The one-way fare of $999 is available to passengers traveling to the United States on Pan Am from Moscow or Leningrad. The fare provides a reduction of 283 rubles, or $467, from the existing one-way ruble fare.
The discounted fare must be purchased outside the Soviet Union, in the form of a prepaid ticket.
