SIMI VALLEY : Members Sought for Election Panel
The city of Simi Valley is seeking two regular and three alternate members to serve on the Citizens Election Advisory Commission.
Registered voters who live in the city and are not involved in upcoming elections may apply for the posts.
The five-member board reviews candidate and committee financial statements and helps city staff members identify any problems with campaign financial disclosure statements.
Commission members also help prepare orientation briefings, informing candidates and campaign committees of state election requirements.
Applications may be obtained from the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road. The application deadline is July 6.
