Former University of Texas linebacker June James had a blood-alcohol level almost twice the legal limit when he was killed May 8 in an auto accident near Baton Rouge, La., according to Louisiana state police.
The blood-alcohol level for James, 27, was .19, a Louisiana officer told the Austin (Tex.) American-Statesman. Louisiana’s legal limit is .10.
