Relocating UCLA Lab School
Young’s letter about UCLA’s decision to move UES caught my eye. Ocean Park is an area in the process of “gentrification” if I ever saw one, so if ethnic and economic diversity is one of the reasons for the move, I think UCLA administrators are not looking in the right place. The whole thing smells to me like a “land grab” on the part of UCLA, because the educational grounds sure are shaky.
