Drummer in Rock Band Rescued From Fire at Sea

The drummer for the rock band Foreigner and his wife were rescued unharmed after abandoning their burning boat off the Florida coast, the Coast Guard said Sunday.

Dennis Elliott and his wife, Iona, radioed the Coast Guard for help, saying their boat was on fire about 45 miles east of Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday afternoon. A Coast Guard aircraft dropped them a raft about 20 minutes later, and the couple was eventually picked up by a freighter, officials said.
