Lisa Leslie of Morningside High is among 17 finalists for the 1990 USA women’s national basketball team.
Other finalists announced in Colorado Springs, Colo., include Vicky Bullett, Cynthia Cooper, Teresa Edwards, Katrina McClain and Lynette Woodard, all of whom played on the U.S. team that won the gold medal in the 1988 Olympics.
Nancy Lieberman, 31, the 1976 and 1980 Olympian who was attempting a comeback, failed to make the group.
