NAMES IN THE NEWS : It’s a Girl for Queen’s Cousin
Marina Mowatt, the 23-year-old cousin to Queen Elizabeth who caused a royal uproar by becoming pregnant out of wedlock, has given birth to a daughter. Mowatt, who is 27th in line to the throne, had a baby girl last weekend after secretly entering a National Health Service hospital in West London, British newspapers reported.
Mowatt made headlines last year when she announced she was having the child of her boyfriend, photographer Paul Mowatt, whom she married in February. The healthy 7-pound girl, whose name has not yet been announced, is the first granddaughter of Princess Alexandra and Sir Angus Ogilvy.
