RABAT, Morocco —
King Hassan II of Morocco will leave for France on Monday to attend a Franco-African summit while his elder son starts a visit to Britain, diplomatic sources said Saturday.
The summit is due to open Tuesday in the seaside resort of La Baule. The king hosted the last one in Casablanca in December, 1988.
On his first official visit to Britain, Crown Prince Sidi Mohammed is scheduled to meet the heir to the British throne, Prince Charles, and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
