American Mobile Systems Logs 3rd-Quarter Loss

American Mobile Systems, a Woodland Hills operator of mobile radio systems, reported a loss of $6,000 in its fiscal third quarter that ended March 31 on an 8% decline in revenue to $1.41 million. In the year-earlier quarter, the company lost $1.9 million on $1.54 million in revenue.
For the nine months that ended March 31, American Mobile earned $3.37 million, compared with a loss of $5.22 million in the year-earlier period. Its nine-month revenue fell 10% to $4.33 million from $4.79 million.
