Diodes Inc. Reports 4th-Quarter Profit

Diodes Inc., a Chatsworth producer of semiconductors, reported a $114,110 profit for its fiscal fourth quarter that ended April 30, compared with a $2.97-million loss a year earlier that mainly reflected the costs of Diodes’ restructuring effort that year.

Diodes’ sales in the latest quarter rose to $3.4 million from $3.1 million as orders for Diodes’ products increased, the company said. For its full fiscal year, Diodes lost $382,421 compared with a $2.91-million loss in fiscal 1989. Its annual sales fell to $12.8 million from $13.8 million.
