The map accompanying “On the Beach,” June 24, indicated that Imperial Beach has been under quarantine since 1980. Actually, only the beach area adjacent to the Imperial Beach estuary and two miles northward is limited to sunbathing. The ocean off the city of Imperial Beach is tested frequently and is safe for swimming.
