‘Bull Durham II’ Up to Bat: It’s time to do the “wave,” “Bull Durham” fans. Orion Pictures has approved a sequel to the 1988 baseball hit. “We intend to make a sequel to ‘Bull Durham,’ ” producer Thom Mount told the Durham Morning Herald in North Carolina. Writer-director Ron Shelton is working on the screenplay, and original stars Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have been approached about signing on. The sequel would feature the three central “Bull Durham” characters in the latter stages of their lives.
