After Homers, Parrish Named Angel of Week
Lance Parrish, who hit two home runs last week, has been named Angel of the Week by The Times’ Orange County Edition.
Parrish hit a grand slam last Sunday against Detroit and a two-run home run Monday at Chicago to increase his total to 13, four short of what he hit in 1989. Parrish drove in six runs and scored three.
A check for $250 in Parrish’s name will be given to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Orange County.
