First Executive Corp., Los Angeles, has announced several personnel changes. William L. Sanders was named chief financial officer and vice president. Sanders replaces Merle Horst, who assumes responsibility for two new functions, institutional markets and industry relations. Horst continues as vice president of First Executive and senior vice president of Executive Life Insurance Co., the principal subsidiary of First Executive. William C. Adams has been named senior vice president in charge of a newly formed corporate services group at Executive Life. G. Rodney J. Letts, who has been senior vice president-reinsurance for Executive Life, was named to direct a new insurance operations department.
