Worker Hurt at Memorial

WASHINGTON —
A piece of concrete fell from a column at the Jefferson Memorial, striking and injuring a maintenance worker, U.S. Park Police reported. A National Park Service worker was moving scaffolding near the top portion of one of the memorial’s columns when a piece of decorative scroll fell Wednesday.
