California Commuter Shuttle Inc., a start-up company in Oxnard that began providing airline service to Las Vegas in February, said it hopes to raise about $3 million with an initial public offering of 600,000 common-share units.

Each unit, which California Commuter plans to sell for about $5, will include one common share and one warrant to purchase an additional common share, according to the company’s filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company currently operates one 19-seat airplane that provides four daily round-trip flights. It plans to expand its service to several major cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego and Tucson, the filing says.
