An undercover operation in Logan Heights has resulted in the arrest of six juveniles and one adult on drug-selling charges. The juveniles, ages 14 to 16, were selling PCP, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.

Francisco Apodaca, 21, of the 2800 block of Webster Ave., was also charged with sales as well as employing minors to sell, Robinson said. Each count could bring prison terms of 3 to 7 years, he said.

“They were arrested for hand-to-hand sales of PCP,” he said.

The operation was undertaken by detectives involved with gangs and narcotics and was part of the Jurisdiction United for Drug Gang Enforcement program. The 2-year-old federally-funded program includes members of the San Diego, National City and Chula Vista police, the Sheriff’s Department, district attorney’s office, and Probation Department.
