Norway Oil Production Resumes: Some offshore oil workers were returning to work on the fifth day of a strike over wages, and Norwegian petroleum production was up to half the normal level, Norway’s national news agency NTB reported. About 4,000 workers went on strike Sunday after failing to reach agreement on wages and job protection. The government invoked compulsory arbitration Monday, making the strike illegal.
