Cuba Criticized on Rights
GENEVA ā U.N. Secretary General Javier Perez de Cuellar criticized Cuba on Thursday for failing to cooperate with the United Nations in its investigation of alleged human rights violations in that country. Cuba and Haiti are the only two countries in Latin America where democracy is still missing, he said.
