378 Dead in China Floods

BEIJING —
At least 22 people were killed when heavy rainstorms caused flooding in southern China this week, the China Daily newspaper said Thursday. It said the latest casualties brought the death toll from recent floods in Hunan province to 378 with economic losses of $361 million.
